Finishing & upkeep
Bespoke Furniture & Joinery
Period houses are full of spaces that no flat-pack manufacturer has ever measured: alcoves either side of a chimney breast that are not the same width, sloping loft eaves, awkward returns beside a bay. Fitted joinery is how you get those back.
We design, build and install fitted furniture as part of the same job as the building work — which means the electrics for a media wall are run at first fix, and a wardrobe is scribed to a wall we plastered ourselves.
What this includes
- Design consultation and measured survey
- Alcove cabinetry, shelving and bookcases
- Fitted and walk-in wardrobes, including loft eaves storage
- Media walls with concealed cable management and ventilation
- Window seats, bay seating and under-stair storage
- Home office desks and shelving
Measured, not assumed
Every unit is templated on site after plastering, so it fits the wall you actually have rather than the one on the drawing.
Materials that hold up
Moisture-resistant MDF, hardwood face frames and soft-close ironmongery as standard, sprayed or hand-finished.
Services designed in
Cable routes, sockets, lighting and ventilation for media walls and wardrobes are planned before the walls close up.

What drives the price
Why two similar jobs quote differently.
We do not publish fixed prices, because a number without a survey behind it is a guess that somebody has to pay for later. What we can tell you is exactly which variables move the figure.
Bring these to the survey and the quotation will be far more accurate.
- 01Painted MDF against hardwood or veneered finishes
- 02Whether doors are shaker, slab, or profiled and hand-painted
- 03Integrated lighting, power and ventilation requirements
- 04Complexity of the space — sloping eaves and bay returns take significantly longer to template
- 05Spray finishing against brush application
- 06Ironmongery specification, particularly soft-close and push-to-open systems
